Professional Freelance Journalist, Editor & Writer

I am an award-winning journalist and editor with more than ten years experience. I am hard-working, reliable and creative. I have written for a variety of magazines (business and consumer), national press, and websites both in London and here in South Africa.

I've also won several awards, not least of all the State Street Institutional Press Award - Journalist of the Year (investment services and technology). See coverage of it below. In 2011, RISKSA won the 'B2B Magazine of the Year' award at the PICA awards ceremony under my editorship. 

I’ve been employed in several editors’ roles on B2B magazines and consumer magazines. I have freelanced and worked for major publishing houses both in the United Kingdom and in South Africa, including The Guardian, The Independent on Sunday, Moneywise magazine, Insurance Times, health and fitness magazine Shape (South Africa), RISKSA and RISKSAFRICA.  

I am currently based in Cape Town South Africa. I am willing to work remotely, but also happy to work in an office should the job require me to.

No task is too big or small. If you need copy for the web, a publication (magazine, supplement or flyer) I am happy to use my experience and produce work in a timely and professional fashion.
